History

The concept for Fiat Liberty stemmed from another business venture called ggBarter, which filed articles of organization in Florida as ggBarter, LLC on January 30th, 2013 and voluntarily dissolved on June 7th, 2013.

The initial purpose and concept for the ggBarter project was to provide a platform for online trading that promoted a free market in the use of alternative currencies and was to provide an unparalleled alternative online dispute resolution system.

To comply with governmental market regulations the component for transacting in alternative currencies was required to be removed. Refusing to compromise the initial purpose for ggBarter it was voluntarily dissolved.

The realization was made that the revolutionary dispute resolution system that would have set ggBarter apart from its competitors (eBay, Amazon and Craigslist) could be extracted and made into a sole entity in the form of a social utility with vast and almost incalculable benefits for social, business, and relational networking with no regulatory governmental intrusion. Thus a free market for individual liberty was born!

Exactly one year after filing the articles of organization for ggBarter, the Fiat Liberty project filed for articles of organization in Virginia on January 30th, 2014.
